What Holiday Homework Booklets are
A Holiday Homework Booklet is a single, ready-made revision workbook that covers all of a learner's subjects for their grade in one document. Rather than hunting for separate papers per subject, a parent or teacher downloads one booklet and the learner has structured practice across every learning area – with an answer key at the back for marking at home.
Elimu Library releases a fresh set of these booklets each holiday, but they are not only for the break. They work just as well as in-term homework and revision: a teacher can assign sections week by week, and a parent can use them to keep a learner practising at home. Each booklet is available in editable Word and in ready-to-print PDF, so you can print it as it is or adapt it before printing.
The booklets follow the same assessment style learners meet in school – for CBC grades, the KPSEA-style multiple-choice and short-answer format with the familiar performance-level scoring (Exceeding, Meeting, Approaching and Below Expectations) – so the practice mirrors the real thing.

What one booklet contains
Each grade's booklet brings the whole grade together in one file. Using the Grade 6 booklet as an example, a single download covers English (grammar, a comprehension-style reading assessment, composition, and listening & speaking), Kiswahili (lugha, insha, and kusikiliza na kuzungumza), Mathematics, Science and Technology, Social Studies, Agriculture, Creative Arts, and the religious education options (CRE, IRE and HRE) – followed by a combined answer sheet and an answer key for every subject, plus space for parent/guardian and teacher remarks.
That means one purchase, one download, and one document to print – rather than assembling a subject-by-subject pile. For a parent, it is the simplest way to give a learner a full holiday's practice; for a teacher, it is a complete term's worth of homework in a single editable file.
